BJP Leader NV Subhash Slams Congress Over Remarks on Delhi Blast, Urges Unity in National Interest

Date:

Hyderabad, Telangana: BJP leader NV Subhash on Thursday criticized the Congress party’s demand for an all-party meeting over the recent Delhi Terror Blast Case, urging the opposition to act responsibly and support the government during a sensitive national security situation.

Speaking to reporters, Subhash expressed condolences for the victims while cautioning the Congress against politicizing the tragedy. “… We stand in solidarity with families of those who lost their lives in the Delhi blast. Also, caution the Congress Party against making any statements that could destabilise the country. Congress should refrain from any such remarks,” he said.

Subhash accused the Congress of repeatedly undermining India’s image and unity through irresponsible statements, both domestically and abroad. “We have seen in the past how Rahul Gandhi gave anti-India statements on the global stage. Instead of making these statements, they should stand with the government,” he added.

The BJP leader emphasized that the government’s priority is to ensure justice for the victims and bring the perpetrators to book. He urged all political parties to maintain national solidarity in the face of terrorism and avoid rhetoric that could demoralize investigative agencies or security forces.

Political observers note that Subhash’s comments reflect the BJP’s larger stance that national security issues should transcend party politics, especially following the recent Red Fort car blast that left several dead and prompted nationwide security alerts.
