Hyderabad, Telangana: State BJP President N Ramchander Rao today visited the iconic Khairatabad Ganesh idol, one of the tallest and most celebrated Ganesh idols in the country.
Speaking to reporters after his visit, Rao expressed his admiration for the devotion and dedication with which the idol is prepared and worshipped every year. “Today I visited the Ganesh idol at Khairatabad. I felt thrilled looking at the tallest Ganesh idol. Every year, they maintain the same height and perform pujas with the same devotion,” he said.
The Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav is among Hyderabad’s most significant cultural and religious events, attracting thousands of devotees daily during the festival. Known for its grandeur, the idol has become a symbol of community spirit, devotion, and tradition.
Rao further commended the organizers for upholding the tradition year after year and bringing devotees together in faith and celebration.
