CM Yogi Vows Tough Crackdown on Those Responsible for Ruining Students’ Futures

Date:

Taking a tough stance on paper leak incidents, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Saturday that no one found guilty of jeopardizing students’ futures would be spared. He noted that action has already been taken against those accused of irregularities in the NEET exam, and the central government will introduce a stringent law in Parliament to effectively curb such crimes in the future. He added that this law would include harsh provisions, such as the confiscation of the guilty parties’ assets.

Inauguration and Foundation Stone Laying for Projects Worth ₹489 Crore in Fatehpur

Addressing a program at the Madaripur Kala ground in Fatehpur—where 125 development projects worth over ₹489 crore were inaugurated or had their foundation stones laid—the Chief Minister stated that the central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is continuously taking steps to safeguard the interests of students. He asserted that those guilty in cases like paper leaks would be sent to jail, and negligence at any level would not be tolerated.

Action Taken in NTA Cases; Mention of New Education Policy

The Chief Minister stated that necessary action has also been taken regarding matters involving the National Testing Agency (NTA). He remarked that the New Education Policy is working to give the youth a new global identity, and the education system is being made more transparent and modern.

Government’s Claim on Law and Order

Yogi Adityanath declared that there is no longer any place for the mafia and criminals in the state. He said there are only two places for such individuals—jail or hell. The Chief Minister claimed that the state government has launched an effective campaign against criminals and the land mafia, and illegal encroachments are being removed from government land.

Targeting the Samajwadi Party

Taking aim at the Samajwadi Party, the Chief Minister said that prior to 2017, the youth were robbed of job opportunities. He alleged that most recruitment drives conducted between 2012 and 2017 were mired in controversy, and deserving candidates were denied justice. In contrast, he highlighted that his government has provided government jobs to over nine lakh youths through a transparent process over the past nine years. Highlighted Fatehpur’s Development

Yogi Adityanath stated that Fatehpur, once classified as an ‘aspirational district,’ is now advancing on a new path of development. He noted that while resources allocated for development were previously misused, the current government has taken development to every village through projects such as medical colleges, roads, bridges, hospitals, electricity infrastructure, composite schools, nursing colleges, and other essential facilities. He added that, driven by the development-oriented policies of both the central and state governments, Fatehpur is shedding its image of backwardness and actively contributing to the resolve of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). The Chief Minister also appealed to the public to support the BJP to sustain this momentum of development.
