PM Modi Praises CP Radhakrishnan’s Candidature for Vice President

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the candidature of CP Radhakrishnan for the post of Vice President has generated widespread enthusiasm across the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and among the people of the country.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi shared details of the NDA meeting held in Delhi, which was attended by MPs from across the alliance. He highlighted that the discussions reflected a strong sense of unity and confidence in Radhakrishnan’s leadership qualities.

“Participated in the NDA meeting in Delhi, attended by MPs across the NDA family. The candidature of CP Radhakrishnan has generated immense enthusiasm all across. People believe that he will be an excellent Vice President, who will enrich the office with his wisdom and insights,” the Prime Minister wrote.

Radhakrishnan, a senior BJP leader from Tamil Nadu, has long been associated with the party’s organizational and political activities. His candidature is being seen as a step to bring greater representation from southern India in national leadership.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that Radhakrishnan’s experience, dedication, and vision would strengthen the institution of the Vice President’s office and contribute positively to India’s democratic framework.

The NDA meeting also reaffirmed the alliance’s commitment to collective decision-making and highlighted the importance of experienced leadership in guiding the nation’s future.
