Telangana BJP Leader Raghunandan Rao Slams CM Revanth Reddy Over Governance and Delimitation Row

Date:

Telangana BJP Secretary Raghunandan Rao Madhavaneni has hit out at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of mismanaging the state’s administration while misleading the public about the Centre’s support.

“Revanth Reddy had met G Kishan Reddy and the Finance Minister to get a loan so he could give money to farmers in Telangana, and their government is saying that they don’t get support from the Centre,” Rao alleged, questioning the CM’s stance on central assistance.

He further criticized the Congress-led Telangana government for its handling of the SLBC tunnel collapse incident, where eight people remain missing.

“Due to the failure of his government, eight people are missing for eight days… He doesn’t do any work, and Telangana cannot run like this,” Rao stated, holding the CM accountable for the crisis.

On the delimitation controversy and the three-language policy, Rao dismissed the opposition’s concerns as baseless.

“Before delimitation, there will be a population census, which hasn’t happened yet. They (Opposition) are creating so much controversy about something that can’t even happen before the next two years,” he said, downplaying the urgency of the issue.

Rao also took a dig at Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin for his stance against Hindi, attributing it to political theatrics.

“MK Stalin is trying to become a hero by taking a stance against Hindi, but this will only impact him negatively,” he added.
