Hyderabad has further strengthened its position as a global technology hub with US-based software company Protolabs announcing plans to set up a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in the city, adding to the growing list of multinational firms expanding their footprint in Telangana.
The development highlights Hyderabad’s continued emergence as a preferred destination for engineering, digital services, and innovation-led operations, particularly in the GCC ecosystem, which has seen rapid expansion over the past few years.

Protolabs’ upcoming centre is expected to support its global engineering, digital manufacturing, and technology operations, functioning as an extended arm of its international business network.
