FASTag Annual Pass Fee Increased to ₹3,075 for FY 2026–27, NHAI Announces

Date:

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Sunday announced a revision in the FASTag Annual Pass fee for the financial year 2026–27.

According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the fee has been increased from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075, and the revised rate will come into effect from April 1, 2026.

Revision as per National Highways Fee Rules

The authority said the fee revision has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008.

The FASTag Annual Pass has been gaining popularity among private vehicle owners, with over 56 lakh users currently availing the facility across the country.

Available for Non-Commercial Vehicles

The revised annual pass will continue to be available for eligible non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag.

It can be used at around 1,150 toll plazas located on national highways and expressways across India.

One-Time Payment for Convenient Travel

The FASTag Annual Pass allows users to avoid frequent toll payments by making a one-time payment.

The pass remains valid for:

  • One year, or

  • Up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever occurs earlier.

The facility aims to make highway travel more convenient and cost-effective for regular commuters.

Activation Within Two Hours

Once the payment is completed, the pass gets activated within two hours on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle.

Users can purchase or renew the annual pass through:

  • The Rajmarg Yatra App

  • The official website of the National Highways Authority of India

FASTag Annual Pass Launched in 2025

The FASTag Annual Pass was launched on Independence Day, August 15, 2025, to simplify toll payments for frequent highway travellers.

Officials said the growing adoption of the pass reflects its convenience and efficiency for regular commuters travelling on national highways across India.
