Ahead of the much-anticipated debate on Operation Sindoor in Parliament, BJP leader NV Subhash criticized the Congress party for repeated disruptions in recent sessions and questioned its commitment to national interest.
Speaking to the media, Subhash said, “The NDA welcomes the long-overdue opposition demand to have a debate in Parliament, which is scheduled for tomorrow. However, the opposition should have the patience to listen to what the Indian government presents.”
He accused the Congress of lacking patriotism and acting out of electoral motives. “The kind of patriotism one would expect seems to be missing in the Congress party. They continue to disrupt proceedings, even when the public is eager for clarity on crucial national matters,” he remarked.
Subhash added that while the NDA is prepared to respond and engage respectfully in the debate, the frequent interruptions by the Congress have weakened democratic functioning. “Seeking votes at the cost of national integrity and disrupting Parliament shows a disregard for democracy and the Constitution,” he said.
