Hyderabad, April 2026: The Telangana Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) results for 2026 (Class 11 and Class 12) were officially announced yesterday, bringing relief and anticipation for lakhs of students across the state. This year, the combined pass percentage for both first and second-year students stands at 66.20%.
Over 6.8 Lakh Students Pass, But Over 4 Lakh Fail
According to official data, a total of 3,23,807 students passed the first-year (Class 11) examinations, while 3,58,490 students successfully cleared the second-year (Class 12) exams. However, despite these achievements, more than four lakh students were unable to pass, highlighting the competitive nature of the exams.
Girls Outperform Boys Again
Continuing the trend of academic excellence, female students outperformed male students by a significant margin. The pass percentage among girls stood at an impressive 74.4%, compared to 57.69% among boys, reinforcing the consistent strong performance of girls in board examinations.
District-Wise Performance Highlights
On the district level, Medchal district emerged as the top performer in first-year results, while Bhupalpally district secured the highest pass percentage in second-year results, showcasing regional academic excellence.
Exams Held Between February and March
The Telangana Intermediate exams were conducted from February 25 to March 18, 2026, under the supervision of the state education board.

Students who appeared for the exams can now check their results online through the official websites of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE). Candidates are advised to keep their hall ticket numbers handy to access their scorecards quickly.
