BJP Releases Municipal Election Manifesto in Telangana, Emphasises Corruption-Free Governance and Youth Empowerment

Date:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released its manifesto for the upcoming municipal elections in Telangana, outlining a development-focused agenda centred on transparency, efficient use of funds, and employment-oriented initiatives for youth.

Speaking at the manifesto release event in Hyderabad, Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao said that citizens across the state are seeking a corruption-free municipal administration. He stated that the party’s vision for urban local bodies is rooted in accountable governance and improved civic services without placing additional financial burden on residents.

Rao highlighted that the manifesto places strong emphasis on youth empowerment through the establishment of self-skilling centres and job training facilities at the local level. According to him, these initiatives are aimed at enhancing employability among young people by equipping them with practical skills aligned with local and emerging job markets. He added that such centres would play a key role in strengthening the economic base of municipalities.

A key feature of the manifesto, Rao said, is the optimal utilisation of Finance Commission allocations for urban development. He stressed that the BJP is committed to ensuring that funds meant for municipal bodies are used efficiently and transparently to improve infrastructure, civic amenities, and overall quality of life. The development agenda, he noted, is aligned with the broader vision of building a developed Telangana as part of a developed India.

Rao also assured that the BJP would not impose additional taxes on citizens at the municipal level, stating that development efforts would be carried out through better financial management and prioritisation of resources. He reiterated that the party’s focus remains on delivering governance that is free from corruption and responsive to public needs.

The release of the manifesto marks a key moment in the BJP’s municipal election campaign in Telangana. Party leaders expressed confidence that the proposed measures addressing governance, employment, and urban development would resonate with voters.

Rao concluded by expressing optimism that the people of Telangana would support the BJP in the forthcoming municipal elections, citing the party’s emphasis on clean administration, inclusive development, and long-term urban growth.
