Date:

Hyderabad, Telangana: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Tuesday said that the Union Budget 2026–27 clearly reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India by 2047, with a strong focus on future-ready sectors such as artificial intelligence, biopharma, infrastructure, and semiconductors.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Joshi said the Budget outlines India’s long-term growth priorities and strengthens the country’s position in the global economy. “What India has visualised for 2047 under PM Modi has been highlighted. AI, biopharma, infra and semiconductors are our priorities,” he said.

The Union Minister noted that the emphasis on technology-driven growth, advanced manufacturing, and large-scale infrastructure development will create new opportunities for employment, innovation, and investment across the country. He said these focus areas align with the government’s broader objectives of self-reliance, competitiveness, and sustainable economic expansion.

Commenting on the political scenario in Telangana, Joshi expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s prospects in the upcoming municipal elections. “We will win municipal elections and form the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation,” he said, asserting that the BJP’s governance model and development agenda resonate with urban voters.

Joshi said the party has been intensifying its outreach in Telangana, highlighting both the Union government’s policy initiatives and the BJP’s local governance plans. According to him, issues such as urban infrastructure, sanitation, digital services, and transparent administration are central to the party’s municipal campaign.

Political observers note that Joshi’s remarks combine policy messaging with electoral confidence, reflecting the BJP’s strategy of linking the Union Budget’s long-term development vision with local governance aspirations. As the municipal elections approach, the Budget’s focus on infrastructure and technology is expected to feature prominently in campaign narratives.
