BJP Leader Boora Narsaiah Goud Slams Congress After Suspension of 8 MPs, Alleges Attempts to Defame India for Political Gains

Date:

Hyderabad, Telangana — BJP leader Boora Narsaiah Goud has strongly criticized the Congress party following the suspension of eight Members of Parliament, stating that the opposition’s actions reflect deep frustration after repeated electoral setbacks. He alleged that senior Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, are resorting to false accusations and disruptive tactics to remain in the public spotlight.

Speaking on the issue, Goud said that the recent statements made by Congress leaders clearly expose their frustration. “The frustration of the Congress party is evident by the statements of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra Gandhi,” he remarked. According to him, instead of engaging in constructive debate, Congress leaders are allegedly denigrating the country for narrow political interests.

Goud further accused the Congress leadership of attempting to tarnish India’s image at both national and international levels. “They are going to the extent of bringing down the name of the country for their political needs,” he said, adding that such behavior is unbecoming of a responsible opposition in a democratic system.

The BJP leader also claimed that the Congress party has lost the confidence of the people and no longer has a clear political agenda. “They have nothing to say; the people have rejected them,” Goud asserted. He suggested that the repeated disruptions in the Lok Sabha and confrontational politics are deliberate attempts to attract media attention.

“That is why they want to be in the news by making false accusations and creating a ruckus in the Lok Sabha,” he added, defending the parliamentary action taken against the suspended MPs. According to Goud, discipline and decorum in Parliament are essential for democracy to function effectively.

The suspension of MPs has once again intensified political tensions between the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress, with both sides trading sharp accusations. While the Congress has termed the suspensions undemocratic, BJP leaders maintain that such action is necessary to ensure smooth functioning of Parliament.

As political confrontations continue, the episode highlights the growing polarization in national politics and the ongoing debate over parliamentary conduct, accountability, and the role of the opposition in India’s democratic framework.
