Date:

Hyderabad, Telangana — Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Monday announced the launch of a long-awaited daily train service between Hyderabad and Jodhpur, fulfilling a longstanding demand of the Rajasthani community residing in Telangana.

“The Rajasthani community living in Hyderabad had been demanding a daily train from Hyderabad to Jodhpur. They had told me several times. The Rajasthan CM and MPs had also requested this, and today all those dreams have come true,” Reddy said while addressing the media.

The inaugural run of the train was flagged off by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who was present for the ceremony.

“This dream has been fulfilled on the orders of the Prime Minister, and I thank him for it,” Reddy added, crediting PM Narendra Modi for prioritizing regional connectivity and addressing public demands.

The new service is expected to significantly benefit commuters, traders, and families who frequently travel between the two regions, enhancing both cultural and economic ties.
