PM Modi Highlights Surya Ghar Scheme and New Development Projects in Rajasthan

Date:

Rajasthan — Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently addressed the launch of several key development projects in Rajasthan, emphasizing the state’s strides in renewable energy and infrastructure.

Highlighting the Surya Ghar free electricity scheme, PM Modi noted that over 40,000 households have benefited from zero electricity bills while earning income through solar power generation. The initiative is a flagship effort to promote clean energy and reduce power costs in rural areas.

Alongside this, the Prime Minister announced new power and irrigation projects designed to enhance energy availability, stimulate industrial growth, and improve water security for farmers in Rajasthan’s drought-prone regions.

“These projects will provide much-needed support to the agricultural sector, ensuring sustainable water use and boosting productivity,” Modi stated, underscoring the government’s commitment to transforming Rajasthan’s economy through modern infrastructure and green energy solutions.

The combined efforts aim to strengthen the state’s resilience against climate challenges while fostering inclusive growth for all communities.
