BJP MP Dr K Laxman Urges Strict Action on Pakistani Nationals After Pahalgam Attack

Date:

BJP MP Dr K Laxman stated that a delegation recently met with the Telangana Governor to discuss the issue of Pakistani nationals residing in the state following the Pahalgam terrorist attack, which resulted in the death of around 26 people. Speaking in Hyderabad, Dr Laxman emphasized that the central government had directed all states to send back Pakistani nationals, but some states were not fully complying with the order.

He said, “We have met with the Governor, as some states were not following this order properly,” highlighting the importance of enforcing national security measures. Dr Laxman called for strict action to ensure that all Pakistani nationals residing in India are identified and deported in line with the government’s directive.

The BJP MP’s remarks reflect growing concerns over the presence of foreign nationals in India, especially in light of security issues linked to terrorism. His meeting with the Telangana Governor underscores the BJP’s stance on national security and the need for state-level cooperation in implementing government directives.
