Telangana High Court Upholds Death Sentence in 2013 Dilsukhnagar Blasts Case; BJP’s Raja Singh Welcomes Verdict

Hyderabad — The Telangana High Court has upheld the death sentence awarded to five convicts in the 2013 Dilsukhnagar twin bomb blasts case, marking a significant moment in the long pursuit of justice for the victims of one of Hyderabad’s deadliest terror attacks.

The blasts, which occurred on 21 February 2013, killed 18 people and injured over 150 others, shaking the city and the nation.

Reacting to the verdict, BJP MLA T Raja Singh welcomed the court’s decision, saying, “This is a very good decision. For this, I thank the police that despite political pressure, they conducted a good investigation, collected all the evidence and succeeded in getting the death sentence for all those terrorists.”

Singh emphasized the emotional and legal toll the case had taken over the past 12 years, calling the judgment a step toward justice for the victims and their families. He also praised the perseverance of law enforcement agencies in securing the convictions amid challenging circumstances.
