The Telangana BJP Mahila Morcha staged a protest outside the state assembly today, urging the state government to fulfill its promises regarding the provision of two-wheeler scooters for women and ensuring better safety measures for women across the state.

Telangana BJP Mahila Morcha President Dr. Shilpa Reddy led the protest, demanding the implementation of the Mahalakshmi scheme, which includes a monthly benefit of Rs 2,500 for women, as well as the provision of two-wheelers for girl students to ensure their mobility and independence.

Speaking at the protest, Dr. Reddy emphasized, “We demand the Mahalakshmi scheme of Rs 2,500 and two-wheelers for girl students and protection of women in the state.” The protest highlighted concerns over women’s safety and the need for stronger measures to ensure their well-being.

The BJP Mahila Morcha has been vocal in pushing for these schemes, which they believe will improve the quality of life for women in Telangana and provide them with greater security and opportunities. The protest comes at a time when issues of women’s safety and empowerment continue to be a key topic in the state’s political discourse.
