During KCR’s 10 years, no houses were built for poor people…they just misled the people… It has been almost 8 months since the Congress government came to power… the central government has decided to build 4 crore houses in the country, but the Telangana government has not ordered any survey yet. I have written to the CM of Telangana. PM Modi is ready to give houses to poor people in Telangana. Telangana government needs to conduct a survey as soon as possible and make a list of the people who need a house.”
Reddy’s remarks are part of a broader critique of the state government’s handling of housing issues. He accuses the previous Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) administration, led by K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), of failing to deliver on promises related to housing for the underprivileged.
