PM Modi’s Ghazipur Rally: A Call for Peace and Order

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a recent public rally in Ghazipur, took a firm stand against the lawlessness and frequent riots that marked the rule of the Samajwadi Party (SP).

PM Modi painted a vivid picture of the state of affairs under the SP rule, stating, “Mafia used to roam around with ‘Lal Batti’, challenging the law in open jeeps. They used to open fire at their nemesis. Riots were an identity of UP. Every month, there used to be 2-3 big riots under the SP rule. This affected the poor, shopkeepers, and businesspersons.”

He contrasted this with the current situation under the Yogi government, asserting, “Under the Yogi government, riots and rioters, both are gone.” This statement underscores the Yogi government’s commitment to maintaining law and order in the state.

PM Modi also took a jab at the SP for their inconsistent stance on the mafia issue. He said, “The Shehzade of the SP once said that they would stop the entry of mafia, but then he went and sat at the feet of the mafia. SP nourished the mafia and gave them ticket.”

These remarks by PM Modi have stirred up a fresh round of debates about the political dynamics in Uttar Pradesh. The rally served as a platform for the Prime Minister to voice his strong opposition to the mafia and riots, and his dedication to ensuring peace and order in the state. The impact of these statements on the political landscape of Uttar Pradesh remains to be seen.
