Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Concerns Over Infiltration in West Bengal

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public gathering in Jhargram, West Bengal, expressed his apprehensions about the alleged role of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Congress in aiding infiltrators.

Modi accused the TMC of inviting infiltrators and facilitating their settlement in the region. He expressed his distress over the dwindling population of native Bengalis in border areas, attributing this to the influx of infiltrators who are allegedly seizing the lands of Dalits, backward, and tribal communities.

The Prime Minister did not hold back in accusing the TMC and Congress of supporting these infiltrators. “TMC-Congress together want to make the occupation of infiltrators legal,” he stated, sparking a series of discussions and debates across the political landscape.

The issue of infiltration has been a contentious one in West Bengal, with political parties often at odds over the best approach to handle it. The Prime Minister’s recent comments are expected to add a new dimension to this ongoing debate.

As the political dynamics continue to change, the people of West Bengal and the nation as a whole will be keenly observing how this situation evolves.
