PM Modi Accuses Telangana Congress of Imposing “RR Tax” During Zahirabad Rally

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a public rally in Zahirabad, Telangana, launched a scathing attack on the Telangana Congress, alleging the imposition of a controversial tax known as the “RR tax,” drawing attention to its purported negative impact on the state’s populace.

In his impassioned speech, PM Modi juxtaposed the success of the Telugu blockbuster film “RRR” with what he described as the detrimental effects of the “RR tax” levied by the Telangana Congress. Praising the film’s global recognition and acclaim, Modi expressed concern over the burden imposed by the alleged tax on the people of Telangana.

“RRR has brought pride to our nation, but the imposition of the RR tax by the Telangana Congress is a matter of shame,” Modi declared, addressing the enthusiastic crowd. He went on to accuse the Telangana Congress of coercing industrialists and contractors in the state to contribute to this tax through illicit means, referring to it as payments “from the backdoor.”

Furthermore, PM Modi alleged that a significant portion of the revenue generated from the RR tax is being funneled to Delhi as black money, casting a shadow over the integrity of the Telangana Congress.

The rally, a crucial stop on PM Modi’s campaign trail in Telangana, has reignited public discourse on taxation policies and fiscal transparency in the state. As citizens and businesses grapple with the implications of the RR tax, political tensions are on the rise, with calls for accountability within the Telangana Congress gaining momentum.

Despite the gravity of the accusations leveled by PM Modi, the Telangana Congress is yet to respond formally, leaving the electorate eager for clarification on the matter. With the political landscape in Telangana undergoing scrutiny, the RR tax controversy has emerged as a pivotal issue, highlighting the importance of ethical governance and fiscal responsibility.
