PM Modi’s Critique of Congress Manifesto: Echoes of Muslim League and Leftist Ideologies

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently expressed criticism of the manifesto released by the Congress party. He drew parallels between the ideologies reflected in the Congress’s manifesto and those of the Muslim League at the time of India’s independence, as well as leftist ideologies.

“Yesterday the kind of manifesto released by Congress reflects the same thinking that was prevalent in the Muslim League at the time of independence,” said PM Modi. He suggested that the Congress’s manifesto bears a striking resemblance to the ideologies of the Muslim League, a party that played a significant role during the partition of India.

“The Congress manifesto completely bears the imprint of the Muslim League,” PM Modi added, implying that the Congress’s policies are influenced by the same divisive ideologies that led to the partition of India.

In addition to this, PM Modi also pointed out the influence of leftist ideologies in the Congress’s manifesto. “The remaining part of the manifesto is dominated by the leftists,” he stated, suggesting a significant shift in the Congress’s political stance.
