Prime Minister Narendra Modi Accuses DMK and Congress of Corruption and One Family Rule in Tamil Nadu

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) and Congress, labeling them as “two sides of the same coin.” He alleged that their alliance represents corruption and one-family rule.

The 5G Allegation

PM Modi asserted, “When we got rid of Congress, the country reached 5G technology. But in Tamil Nadu, DMK is running its own 5G—the fifth generation of one family—to have control over the state.” His statement highlights the party’s dynastic approach and its perceived grip on power within the state.

DMK’s Real Face

Referring to the late Jayalalithaa, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, PM Modi stated, “How the DMK behaved with Jayalalithaa is well known. This is DMK’s real face.” The reference to Jayalalithaa, a prominent political figure in Tamil Nadu, underscores the contentious relationship between the two parties.

INDIA Bloc and Hinduism

PM Modi also criticized the INDIA bloc, which includes the Congress and DMK, for their alleged insults to Hinduism. He emphasized that while they repeatedly target Hindu faith, they remain silent about other religions. The Prime Minister invoked the concept of “Shakti” (power) in Hinduism, emphasizing its significance and vowing that Tamil Nadu will punish those who talk of destroying it.

A Battle for Tamil Nadu

As the state gears up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the political landscape in Tamil Nadu remains charged. The battle lines are drawn, and the DMK-Congress alliance faces a formidable challenge from the BJP-led coalition. The electorate will decide whether to embrace continuity or seek change in the state’s governance.

In conclusion, PM Modi’s remarks underscore the high stakes in Tamil Nadu politics, where corruption allegations, dynastic politics, and ideological clashes dominate the discourse. As the campaign intensifies, all eyes are on the state’s voters to determine the course of Tamil Nadu’s future.
