Following the tragic blast at a pharmaceutical company in Sangareddy, Telangana, BJP spokesperson NV Subhash expressed deep sorrow over the incident, which claimed the lives of at least eight individuals.
“The BJP extends condolences to the family members of those who have lost their lives in this mishap,” Subhash stated. He further informed that BJP leaders and workers were immediately mobilised to the site to provide emergency support and help mitigate the damage.
Highlighting the need for accountability, Subhash demanded a thorough investigation into the incident. “We request the authorities to verify whether the company was operating with all the mandatory safety licenses and approvals. If any lapses or negligence are found, immediate action should be taken against the management,” he added.
The incident has sparked concerns over industrial safety standards in Telangana, especially in the fast-growing pharmaceutical sector. The BJP has urged the state government to tighten safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to prevent such tragedies in the future.
Rescue and relief efforts are ongoing, with local authorities yet to release an official statement detailing the cause of the explosion.
