Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India is emerging as a beacon of hope for the world due to its strong economic fundamentals. Addressing a post-Budget webinar on the theme ‘Sustaining and Strengthening Economic Growth’, he emphasized that rapid economic development is the foundation for achieving the vision of a developed India (Viksit Bharat).

Positive Response to Budget Webinar Series

The Prime Minister noted that the first session of the post-Budget webinar series, held last week, received an encouraging response. Participants offered constructive suggestions to ensure effective implementation of Budget provisions.

He welcomed the active engagement of stakeholders and highlighted that thousands of participants, including subject experts, joined the second webinar to share insights across various sectors. PM Modi described the large-scale participation as a meaningful and successful initiative in collaborative policymaking.

Focus on Sustained Economic Growth

Highlighting the webinar’s theme, PM Modi said India must continue to strengthen its growth trajectory at a time when global supply chains are being reshaped and nations are seeking reliable economic partners.

“India is becoming the center of global hope because of its resilient economy,” he stated, adding that sustained high growth is essential to realize the goal of Viksit Bharat.

‘Make More, Connect More, Export More’ Vision

Outlining India’s economic roadmap, the Prime Minister reiterated the mantra: “Make more, produce more, connect more, and export more.”

He stressed that this is the right time for India to elevate its manufacturing and export capacity. With global markets looking for dependable and flexible manufacturing hubs, India has a significant opportunity to position itself as a trusted partner.

No Compromise on Quality

PM Modi underscored that quality must remain the top priority in India’s growth journey. “Our mantra should be quality, quality, and quality,” he said.

He pointed out that India has signed multiple Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with several countries, opening new avenues for trade and investment. In this context, maintaining high standards in products and services is crucial for strengthening India’s credibility and competitiveness in global markets.

The Prime Minister concluded by reaffirming that India’s economic reforms, manufacturing push, and export expansion strategies are aligned to enhance global trust and long-term growth.
