Hyderabad: Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao on Tuesday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has prepared a detailed presentation to highlight what it claims are the failures of the Congress and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the state, while also outlining the key promises of the BJP’s manifesto.
Addressing the media in Hyderabad, Rao said the presentation was showcased before party cadres and journalists as part of the BJP’s campaign strategy in Telangana. “The BJP today had prepared a presentation and presented it before the media and the cadres. This presentation has been prepared to expose the Congress and the BRS party,” he said.
According to Rao, the presentation focuses on multiple issues that the BJP believes have adversely affected the state under previous and current administrations. He said the party has highlighted governance-related concerns, unfulfilled promises, and policy decisions taken by both the Congress and the BRS, aiming to draw a contrast with the BJP’s vision for Telangana.
Rao added that the presentation also lays out several salient features of the BJP’s manifesto, which he said is centred on development, transparency, and good governance. “The BJP has come up with several salient features of the BJP’s manifesto,” he stated, adding that the party’s agenda addresses key sectors such as infrastructure, employment, welfare, and public accountability.
Highlighting the campaign’s central message, the Telangana BJP president said the theme guiding the party’s outreach is “Save Telangana, Support the BJP.” He noted that the slogan reflects the party’s claim that Telangana requires a change in leadership to address pressing challenges and ensure long-term progress.
The BJP has been intensifying its political activities in the state through public meetings, media interactions, and cadre engagement programmes. Party leaders say the objective is to strengthen organisational outreach at the grassroots level and clearly communicate the party’s policy priorities to voters.
Political observers note that with the campaign gaining momentum, the BJP is positioning itself as a strong alternative to both the Congress and the BRS, seeking to consolidate its support base by focusing on governance issues and its manifesto commitments. As the political climate in Telangana heats up, such presentations and targeted messaging are expected to play a key role in shaping public discourse in the run-up to elections.
