PM Modi to Inaugurate Multiple Development Projects in Telangana and Tamil Nadu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch several development projects in Telangana and Tamil Nadu today, marking a significant stride in the nation’s journey towards progress.

A Three-Day Tour Across Five States

The Prime Minister’s visit is part of a three-day tour across five states, including Odisha, West Bengal, and Bihar. The development works to be inaugurated during this visit span a wide range of sectors and are expected to transform several lives.

Focus on Power, Rail, and Road Sectors

In Telangana’s Adilabad, the Prime Minister will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects related to the power, rail, and road sectors. These projects, worth more than Rs. 56,000 crores, will significantly boost the region’s infrastructure.

The major focus of the projects will be the power sector. PM Modi will dedicate NTPC’s 800 MW (Unit-2) to the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project in Peddapalli, Telangana. Based on ultra-supercritical technology, the project will supply 85 percent power to Telangana and will have the highest power generation efficiency of approximately 42 percent among all power stations of NTPC in India.

The Prime Minister’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to the nation’s development. The launch of these projects is expected to usher in a new era of growth and prosperity for the people of Telangana and Tamil Nadu.
