Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Inaugurate Development Works in Telangana

Date:

HYDERABAD / SANGAREDDY – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation for various development works worth around Rs 15,718 crore during his two-day tour of Telangana. The visit, scheduled for March 4 and 5, will include stops in Adilabad and Sangareddy.

This marks a significant event as it will be the first time a prime minister has visited Adilabad in 40 years. The last prime minister to visit the district was Indira Gandhi in 1983.

In Adilabad, Modi is expected to lay the foundation for a mini airport and the revival of the Cement Corporation of India factory. It is also learnt that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy may participate in these official programmes.

Meanwhile, the Sangareddy district administration is making elaborate arrangements for Modi’s visit. The Prime Minister may address a public meeting at Kishtareddypet in Patancheru mandal.

District Collector Valluru Kranthi and SP Ch Rupesh, along with Special Protection Group (SPG) officials, have inspected the arrangements being made at the venue of the public meeting.

The visit is expected to boost the development initiatives in the region and bring national attention to the ongoing projects in Telangana.
