The Summer Annual Festival 2026 of the Amrit Udyan was inaugurated by the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, on August 14, 2026. The Amrit Udyan Summer Annual Festival will be open to the general public from August 16 to September 15, 2026.
During this period, the garden will remain open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with entry permitted until 5:00 PM. The garden will undergo maintenance every Monday; therefore, it will remain closed to visitors on Mondays.
Visitors will be able to enter and exit Amrit Udyan through Gate No. 35, located near North Avenue Road. Entry to the garden will be free of charge. However, visitors will be required to book a slot online in advance. Slots can be booked at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in, and bookings for a specific day will close at 10:00 AM on the preceding day. On-the-spot booking facilities will not be available.
Facilities such as drinking water, first aid, rain shelters, and restrooms will be available at Amrit Udyan for the convenience of visitors. A shuttle bus service will operate every 30 minutes from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM between the Central Secretariat Metro Station and the entrance gate.
