Hyderabad: Axis Bank and BITS Pilani signed an official agreement. Under this partnership, they will create the Axis Bank–BITS Industry Research, Technology & Innovation Park. This park will serve as a dedicated space where the bank and the university work together on new technology and research.
This collaboration, backed by a CSR grant of ₹100 crore, marks a significant step towards strengthening India’s deep-tech and translational research ecosystem. It creates an integrated launchpad to foster deep collaboration between industry and academia, while driving innovation and entrepreneurship.
The proposed park will focus on life sciences, biopharma, healthcare, and medical devices. It is being developed to support innovation in India and help create affordable healthcare solutions that improve people’s lives.
The park will include laboratories, incubation centers, and various shared facilities in one location. It will specifically support innovators from academia, startups, and the MSME sectors through structured partnerships and the co-design and co-creation of projects.
