Haryana’s Board Results Reflect Consistent Academic Excellence Across Schools

Date:

Chandigarh: Haryana has once again demonstrated strong academic performance in the 2026 ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations, with students achieving exceptionally high pass percentages, including a perfect 100% result in Class 12. The results were announced by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), reaffirming the state’s steady progress in school education.

As per the official data, Haryana recorded an impressive 99.8% pass rate in ICSE (Class 10), while every student who appeared for the ISC (Class 12) exams cleared them successfully. This places the state among the top-performing regions, reflecting both consistency and academic discipline across schools.

The examinations saw participation from several institutions across Haryana, particularly in Gurgaon, where schools reported outstanding outcomes. Teachers and school administrators attributed the success to systematic preparation, improved teaching methods, and continuous evaluation practices that have strengthened student performance over time.

A significant trend observed this year was the continued strong showing by female students. Girls slightly outperformed boys, maintaining the pattern seen in previous years and highlighting narrowing gaps in academic achievement.

Students across multiple schools secured scores above 90%, with some even achieving perfect marks in individual subjects, underscoring the level of preparation and commitment. Educators noted that a growing focus on concept-based learning and analytical skills has played a key role in these results.

The examinations were conducted earlier in the year, and results were declared at the end of April 2026. Students were able to access their scorecards through official online portals and digital platforms, making the process smooth and transparent.

The 100% pass rate in ISC (Class 12) is being viewed as a major achievement, especially in a competitive academic environment. Many successful candidates are now preparing for higher education and entrance examinations in fields such as engineering, medicine, business, and the humanities, while some are also considering international study options.

Education experts believe that Haryana’s strong performance is the result of a gradual shift in teaching approaches. Schools have increasingly integrated digital learning tools, regular assessments, and skill-based education models, helping students adapt to modern academic demands.

At the same time, experts have urged students and parents not to focus solely on marks. They emphasise the importance of overall development, including critical thinking abilities, creativity, and mental well-being, especially given the pressures associated with board examinations.

Officials from the education sector have praised the students’ achievements and credited schools for maintaining high standards of teaching and support. The results, they say, reflect the effectiveness of efforts aimed at improving quality education and student outcomes across the state.

With near-perfect ICSE results and a flawless ISC performance, Haryana continues to strengthen its position as a strong performer in the national education landscape. As students celebrate their success, attention now turns to their future academic journeys and career aspirations, marking an important transition in their educational path.
