GHMC Announces 90% Rebate on Pending Property Tax Under One-Time Settlement Scheme

Date:

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has announced a 90 percent rebate on pending property tax as part of a one-time settlement scheme, providing relief to taxpayers ahead of the March 31 payment deadline.

According to an official press release issued on Thursday, the rebate applies to pending property taxes for the financial year 2025–26, allowing property owners to clear their dues at significantly reduced amounts.

Deadline for Availing Rebate is March 31

GHMC officials said the rebate will remain available until March 31, which is also the last date for property tax payment under the scheme.

The initiative aims to encourage taxpayers to clear outstanding dues while benefiting from the substantial rebate offered by the civic body.

Multiple Payment Options Available

To make the process convenient, GHMC has enabled several payment options for citizens. Property owners can pay their tax dues through:

  • The official GHMC website – www.ghmc.gov.in

  • The MyCURE mobile application

  • Mee Seva Centres

  • Citizen Service Centres across the city

GHMC Urges Citizens to Use the Opportunity

The GHMC Commissioner urged property owners to take advantage of the one-time settlement scheme and clear their pending property tax dues before the deadline.

Officials said the initiative will help taxpayers settle their liabilities while also improving municipal revenue collection for civic development projects in Hyderabad.
