PM Narendra Modi Visits High-Tech Innovation Exhibition in Jerusalem with Benjamin Netanyahu

Jerusalem: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited a special technology exhibition in Jerusalem along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where cutting-edge Israeli innovations were showcased across sectors including agriculture, water, climate, healthcare, artificial intelligence, cyber security, quantum technology, and space.

PM Modi said these advanced technologies have immense potential to elevate the India-Israel innovation partnership to new heights.

Direct Interaction with Scientists and Tech Leaders

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the exhibition held on February 25 featured leading companies, startups, and research institutions presenting their latest technological breakthroughs.

PM Modi interacted directly with scientists, technology entrepreneurs, and CEOs, gaining insights into the working and practical applications of the showcased solutions.

Quantum Computing and Deep Tech Solutions

In the quantum and deep-tech segment, solutions related to quantum computing were presented.

In healthcare and AI, an AI-powered ultrasound system capable of providing real-time diagnostic guidance was demonstrated. AI-based risk detection tools and predictive analytics platforms were also showcased.

Smart Mobility and Cyber Security Innovations

In the smart mobility domain, advanced sensor and chip technologies aimed at reducing road accidents were displayed.

Cyber security solutions included cutting-edge digital protection systems and collaborative innovations developed in partnership with India.

Focus on Sustainable Water and Agriculture Technologies

Sustainability-driven technologies in water and agriculture received special attention. These included:

  • Technology to generate drinking water from air

  • Gravity-based micro-irrigation systems

  • Electricity-free post-harvest crop loss reduction solutions

In climate and biotechnology, lab-grown milk proteins, microalgae-based production systems, and bio-based plastic waste management technologies were exhibited.

Energy, Natural Resources and Space Technology

In the energy and natural resources sector, high-precision mineral resource modeling technologies were presented.

In space technology, small communication satellites and synthetic aperture radar systems were demonstrated, highlighting Israel’s advancements in space research and satellite innovation.

Boost to India-Israel Innovation Partnership

PM Modi emphasized that these technologies offer vast opportunities to expand collaboration between India and Israel in innovation, startups, and trade partnerships.

He particularly highlighted cooperation in agriculture, water management, healthcare, and digital services.

The Prime Minister also invited Israeli companies to invest in India, set up manufacturing units, and develop long-term technology partnerships.

The exhibition visit further strengthens India-Israel ties in emerging technologies and innovation-driven growth sectors.
