Union Minister and Telangana State BJP President G. Kishan Reddy announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party will observe the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on April 14 with a series of nationwide programmes involving party leaders and public representatives.
Speaking to the media, Reddy said, “On April 14, on the birth anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar, across the country, the Prime Minister and BJP leaders, including Chief Ministers, MLAs, and MPs, will attend various programmes.”
Highlighting the party’s commitment to honoring Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy, Reddy added, “BJP is cleaning and decorating the B.R. Ambedkar statues across the country for tomorrow’s programmes… the preparations are going on in full swing.”
The celebrations will include floral tributes, awareness programmes on Ambedkar’s contributions to the Constitution and social justice, and public outreach events, underscoring the party’s emphasis on inclusive development and respect for national icons.
