PM Modi Marks Kargil Vijay Diwas: Reaffirms India’s Resolve Against Terrorism and Aggression

On the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid heartfelt tribute to the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during the 1999 Kargil War. Speaking at the Kargil War Memorial, Modi highlighted the dual victories—both moral and strategic—that India achieved, and reiterated the nation’s steadfast commitment to combating terrorism and defending its sovereignty.

In his address, Prime Minister Modi celebrated the bravery of the Indian armed forces, emphasizing that their valor during the Kargil conflict not only secured India’s borders but also set a powerful example of courage and resilience. He praised the soldiers for their exceptional dedication and sacrifice in repelling Pakistan’s aggression.

“The victory at Kargil was a profound testament to our soldiers’ courage and our nation’s resolve,” Modi said. “It demonstrated our ability to overcome aggression and defend our sovereignty with unwavering determination. Our soldiers’ sacrifices remind us of our enduring commitment to peace and security.”

Modi also addressed the ongoing challenges posed by Pakistan’s attempts to destabilize India through terrorism and covert operations. He assured that India remains vigilant and ready to confront any such threats decisively. “Pakistan’s attempts to undermine our security through terrorism will be met with a strong and resolute response,” Modi affirmed.

The Prime Minister’s remarks reinforced India’s continued dedication to maintaining national security and countering terrorism. Modi’s address served as a powerful reminder of the Kargil War’s legacy and the ongoing vigilance required to protect the country from external threats.
