Telangana Farmers Cheated by Congress, Claims Union Minister G Kishan Reddy

Date:

Hyderabad – Union Minister for Tourism, Culture and Development of North Eastern Region and Telangana BJP President, G Kishan Reddy, has accused the Congress of cheating the farmers of Telangana. He alleges that the Congress had promised a loan waiver within 100 days of coming to power, but they have failed to deliver on this promise.

“The Congress is cheating the Telangana farmers,” Reddy said. “They had promised to do a loan waiver within 100 days of coming to power. However, they are cheating the farmers in the name of loan waiver.”

Reddy also criticized the Congress for promising money to tenant farmers and a Rs 500 bonus among other things, but not implementing any of these promises. He accused the Revanth Reddy government of not thinking about implementing these promises and cheating the farmers.

“The Congress government is just swearing on different Gods,” Reddy added. “The majority of the farmers in Telangana cultivate thick rice. However, the Congress government is only giving bonuses for thin rice. This is cheating on the farmers.”

Despite these allegations, Reddy assured that the central government is ready to buy even the thick rice cultivated by the majority of the farmers in Telangana. This statement comes as a reassurance to the farmers who felt neglected by the state government’s policies.

The Union Minister’s comments have sparked a new debate on the treatment of farmers in Telangana, and it remains to be seen how the Congress will respond to these allegations. The farmers of Telangana are eagerly waiting for a resolution to their issues, and it is clear that this will be a major point of contention in the coming days.
