PM Modi’s Rally in Rudrapur: A Plea for National Unity and Democratic Values

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a public rally in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, voiced his concerns about the recent actions of the Congress party and their potential implications for India’s unity and democratic principles.

Modi drew attention to the change in the Congress party’s rhetoric since they lost power. “After staying out of power for just 10 years, they have started talking about igniting fire in India,” he noted. He called upon the citizens to respond to such actions by preventing the party from regaining power.

The Prime Minister accused the Congress of forsaking democratic values and pushing India towards a state of anarchy and instability. He referred to an incident in Karnataka where a Congress leader suggested dividing the country into two parts. “Shouldn’t those who talk about dividing the country be punished?” he asked the crowd.

Rather than disciplining the leader for his divisive remarks, Modi alleged that the Congress party rewarded him with an election ticket. This decision, according to Modi, is indicative of the party’s disregard for national unity and stability.

Through his address, the Prime Minister urged the public to uphold the principles of unity and democracy. He encouraged them to participate actively in the upcoming elections and choose leaders who are committed to fostering a united and stable India.
