PM Modi’s Rally in Meerut Ushers in Lok Sabha Election 2024

Meerut, Uttar Pradesh – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the stage for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 with a grand rally in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The rally, held on Sunday, marked the beginning of the election season, with the world’s largest democratic exercise set to commence.

PM Modi, who has a history of launching his election campaigns from Meerut, reiterated its symbolic significance in his political journey by choosing it as the launchpad for this year’s campaign. The rally was a major event, with political alliances converging in Uttar Pradesh, the heartland of Indian politics.

During his address, PM Modi made a strong pitch for a ‘Viksit Bharat’, aligning with the aspirations of the Indian populace. The rally was attended by several prominent figures, including BJP candidate Arun Govil, known for his portrayal in the TV serial ‘Ramayan’, and Rashtriya Lok Dal president Jayant Chaudhary, a recent entrant to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.

The General Elections are scheduled to be held in seven phases between April 19 and June 1. In anticipation of the elections, various political parties have begun their campaigns in earnest. Several candidates have already filed their nominations, marking the start of an intense period of campaigning
