Hyderabad, Telangana — Responding to BRS MLC K. Kavitha’s reported remark about alleged attempts to merge her party with the BJP, BJP MP Eatala Rajender dismissed any speculation of unilateral political decisions within his party.
Speaking in Hyderabad, Rajender stated, “The BJP is a democratic party. Any decision that is taken goes through thorough discussion across all its institutions before being finalised.”
The comment comes amid swirling political chatter in Telangana about the future of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and possible alignments ahead of national political developments. While Kavitha’s remark hinted at past overtures or claims of pressure, Rajender’s response emphasized that BJP’s decisions are guided by structured and consultative processes, not individual negotiations.
