BJP Leader NV Subhash Criticizes Law and Order in West Bengal Over RG Kar Medical College Incident

Date:

BJP leader NV Subhash has sharply criticized the law and order situation in West Bengal following a troubling incident at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Speaking to the media today, Subhash condemned the state government’s handling of the case and called for a thorough investigation.

The RG Kar Medical College and Hospital incident has drawn significant public and political attention. Subhash likened the situation to the notorious Nirbhaya case, suggesting that it reflects a broader failure in law enforcement and justice under the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

“The BJP workers are bringing to the notice of the public that the law and order situation is grim in West Bengal,” Subhash said. “The TMC government and Mamata Banerjee are not taking care of the accused in this case. This is nothing but one more Nirbhaya case which happened in West Bengal.”

Subhash’s remarks came in response to concerns over the alleged mishandling of the incident involving serious allegations. The BJP has demanded a comprehensive inquiry to ensure justice and accountability. “Telangana BJP demands a thorough inquiry into this incident,” he stated.

Subhash also expressed concern about the potential consequences of such incidents on the functioning of government hospitals. “This kind of incident should not happen,” he said. “Otherwise, the doctors of government hospitals will be afraid. They will not do their duty, and the poor and needy patients will suffer due to this.”

The BJP’s call for action highlights the growing scrutiny of law enforcement and government response to high-profile cases. As the investigation into the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital incident continues, the demands for justice and systemic reform are expected to intensify, reflecting broader concerns about public safety and the protection of vulnerable individuals.
